Nerissa Cargill Thompson is currently exhibiting at Art in the Barn as part of Goosfest. 10am to 4pm, Friday 26th to Sunday 28th September 2025 The Exhibition Barn at the Orchards Farm, Twemlow, CW4 8DS
Helen MacRitchie is currently exhibiting with Seam Collective in Warped & Wasted, a large scale experimental textile installation focusing on the complexities of textile waste, authentic sustainability, and collaboration. Located at ACEarts, Market Place, Somerton, Somerset TA11 7NB until 11 Oct. Open Tues 11am - 5pm, Wed to Sat 10am - 5pm. On Friday 3rd October 10 - 4pm, you can join invited speakers and Seam members talking about sustainability and textiles either online or in person. Tickets available here.
Lynne Chapman is currently exhibiting in Ilkley Art Open 2025: Connections until October 12th - open weekends 11am - 4pm. It is a beautifully curated exhibition of contemporary textiles, painting, ceramics, glass, print, photography and sculpture, in Ilkley Manor House, a Grade-1 listed building dating from 1390.
Catherine Hill is currently exhibiting in “O Curio Gabinete: Animal” exhibition touring Portugal until 3rd October at A Tentadora in Covilhã. This touring exhibition features miniature 2D and 3D works shown in a hamster cage. The cabinet will be displayed in several galleries and other locations in Portugal, including Porto, Coimbra and Tomar. All work has a maximum length of 10cm and weighs no more than 60g - the average length and weight of a hamster.
Anne Amosford is currently showing in “Material Power - Rewoven” at Hardwick Hall, Derbyshire until 22nd October. Open 11.00am - 3.30pm daily. Last admission 2.45pm. Textile works in response to Hardwick Hall, materials and women.
Anne Amosford was selected for RWA 172 Open at Royal West of England Academy, Bristol until 28th December 2025. Open Tues- Sun 10.00am - 5.00pm.
Jane Riley and Anita Bruce are exhibiting in touring exhibition “Picking up the Thread: the Past Present and Future of Tapestry”; a celebration of Tapestry to mark the 20th year of the British Tapestry Group, featuring 69 artists from nine different countries. Currently in Gracefields Art Centre, Dumfries until 4th of October then on to Dovecot Studios, Edinburgh 20th of October to the 14th February 2026 followed by The Market Hall, Devonport 2nd - 18th March 2026 Morley Gallery, London 13th - 25th July 2026.
Maria Walker has been selected for Beneath the Veil exhibition at The House of Smalls, 103 Henderson Row, Edinburgh from 3rd October to 1st November.
Nerissa Cargill Thompson will be exhibiting at Wilmslow Art Under One Roof at Wilmslow Art, Church Rooms, United Reformed Church, Wilmslow, SK9 1PR 3-5th October | Friday 6-8pm Saturday 10am-5pm Sunday 12-5pm. She will be there throughout the event so do say hi.
Paulene Cattle taking part in the annual Wandsworth Artist's Open House showing textiles and prints alongside jewellery maker Jenni Lewis. Venue 25 on the Southfields Trail, Sat 4th & Sun 5th, Sat 11th & Sun 12th October 11am - 6pm.
Marian Jasmik solo exhibition “Overlooked” will be showcased at in the Textile Galleries at Knit + Stitch, offering audiences a chance to experience Marian's distinctive approach to textile art. Alexandra Palace in London 9th-12th October, Thursday- Saturday 10.00-17.30, Sunday 10.00-16.30 followed by Harrogate Convention Centre 20th-23rd Nov, Thursday- Saturday 10.00-17.30, Sunday 10.00-16.30. Marian will be taking private gallery tours on Thursday and Saturday 10.00 -10.45am at each venue, tickets available on the Knit and Stitch website.
Ross Belton & Wolfgang Woerner will be exhibiting in “Breaking Through”, the latest exhibition from The Holborn Group, the diverse collective will address perceptions of contemporary life, urban and rural landscapes as well as social and political issues. 10 - 12 October 2025 11- 6pm Daily at The Department Store, 248 Ferndale Road, London, SW9 8FR.
Annie Taylor is taking part in East Kent Artists Open Houses. Visit artists in their own houses and studios across Whitstable and East Kent; meet them in their natural habitat and a fabulous chance to buy unique original art. Weekends in October (11/12th, 18/19th, 25/26th) 11am to 5pm.
Willeke Klaassen will be showing her work at Affordable Art Fair, Booth C25, Kromhouthal, gedempt Hamerkanaal 231, Amsterdam8-12 October 2025. wed 17-22.00, thu 14-21.00, fri 12.-21.00, sat 10-19.00, sun 10-18.00. An array of Dutch and international galleries will showcase 1000s of affordable contemporary artworks.
Sharon Kearley will be exhibiting alongside fellow members of Design Nation South in “Materialised”, an exhibition of contemporary design and craft at Regency Town House, Brunswick Square, Brighton 15th - 26th October 10am-4pm.
Penny Maltby will be showing at Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair, Victoria Baths, Hathersage Rd, Manchester M13 0FE from 16th - 19th October. GNCCF Manchester is firmly established as one of the UK’s leading craft fairs, showcasing over 150 of the finest designer-makers and craft artists from across the country. Book your tickets here.
Niki Chandler will be showing in the Cambridge Drawing Society Autumn Exhibition Leys School, Trumpington Rd, Cambridge, CB2 7AD 26 October- 1 November 10 - 4 daily. Free Entry . P.V. Saturday 25 October 1 -3pm. All welcome. Cambridge Drawing Society is believed to be the oldest of its kind in the UK opened in 1882. Only original artworks are exhibited including paintings, drawings , prints, mixed media and sculpture. All works for sale. Niki will be showing three new prints from her PATTERNS OF INTERFERENCE series. (This series of textile prints using tent ventilation netting was initiated in response to Prisms WARPED exhibition 2023)

Lynne Chapman and Catherine Hill are excited to have been offered the opportunity to spend a week in Fez. This residency celebrates the UNESCO-listed Fez Medina as a city of creativity. Follow their journey on Instagram over the first week of October.
