Welcome to the November issue of our blog sharing where you can find our talented members in exhibitions, giving talks or running workshops both online and in the real world.
Exhibitions & Events:
Niki Chandler is currently showing in the Cambridge Drawing Society Autumn Exhibition Leys School, Trumpington Rd, Cambridge, CB2 7AD 26 October- 1 November 10 - 4 daily. Free Entry. All welcome. Cambridge Drawing Society is believed to be the oldest of its kind in the UK opened in 1882. Only original artworks are exhibited including paintings, drawings , prints, mixed media and sculpture. All works for sale. Niki will be showing three new prints from her PATTERNS OF INTERFERENCE series. (This series of textile prints using tent ventilation netting was initiated in response to Prisms WARPED exhibition 2023)
Maria Walker is currently showing work in “Beneath the Veil” exhibition at The House of Smalls, 103 Henderson Row, Edinburgh from 3rd October to 1st November.
Anne Amosford was selected for RWA 172 Open at Royal West of England Academy, Bristol until 28th December 2025. Open Tues- Sun 10.00am - 5.00pm.
Jane Riley and Anita Bruce are exhibiting in touring exhibition “Picking up the Thread: the Past Present and Future of Tapestry”; a celebration of Tapestry to mark the 20th year of the British Tapestry Group, featuring 69 artists from nine different countries. Currently in Dovecot Studios, until the 14th February 2026 followed by The Market Hall, Devonport 2nd - 18th March 2026 Morley Gallery, London 13th - 25th July 2026.
Jane Riley is exhibiting in “Tapestry of the North - Our Textile Heritage” at Farfield Mill, Sedburgh until 21st of December, featuring work by members of British Tapestry Group North exploring the heritage of textiles. It will tour to museum in Redcar and Halifax in 2026.
Jill Walker is curating and exhibiting in “Remember Nature” at Castlefield Gallery New Art Spaces: Chester, Unit 12, Grosvenor Shopping Centre, Chester CH1 1ED Exhibition runs from 1st November to 9th November Opening times: 1pm - 4pm
Ross Belton is currently showing his sculpture “INVASION” as part of Malton Sculpture Trail in Dalby Forest until 31st May 2026. The Dalby Forest Visitors Centre, Low Dalby, Thornton-Le-Dale, Pickering, YO18 7LT1. 1 is open 1 March - 31 October: 9:30am - 5pm and November - 28 February: 9am - 4pm. The what three word location of “INVASION” in the Dalby Forest as part of the Malton Sculpture Trail is ///free.resold.toasters.
Patti Taylor and Jo Coombes will both be part of “WILD!” exhibition of textile and mixed media work by Phoenix Contemporary Textiles at the Penny School Gallery, Richmond Road, Kingston upon Thames. 4th to 14th November.
Vivienne Beaumont is exhibiting with The Society of Designer Craftsmen in “Designer Craft – Tales in the Making” at Oxmarket Contemporary, Chichester, 11 – 23 November 2025. This two-week multi-disciplinary show embodies the imaginative thinking and highly skilled approaches of over 40 of our designer-maker members and features woven & stitched textiles, ceramics, furniture, woodcarving, jewellery, metal, glass, printmaking & mixed media. Open Tuesday - Saturday 12.00-16.30. Sunday 12.00-16.00. Admission free.
Vivienne Beaumont will be exhibiting in the textile galleries at Knit + Stitch at The Eikon Exhibition Centre, Lisburn, Northern Ireland from 13th – 16th November 2025. Open Thursday- Saturday 10.00-17.30, Sunday 10.00-16.00.
Helen MacRitchie will be showing in Oxfordshire Craft Guild Winter Exhibition at Oxfordshire Museum, Fletcher's House, Park Street, Woodstock 15 Nov - 31st Dec, 10am - 4.45pm (Sun 2pm - 4.45pm) closed Mondays. Opening PV on Sat 15th Nov 11am - 1pm. Quality handmade gifts from 30 members of the guild - ceramics, textiles, jewellery, wood, glass, paper.
Marian Jasmik solo exhibition “Overlooked” will be showcased at in the Textile Galleries at Knit + Stitch, offering audiences a chance to experience Marian's distinctive approach to textile art. After a fabulous event at Alexandra Palace in London, she will be at Harrogate Convention Centre 20th-23rd Nov, Thursday- Saturday 10.00-17.30, Sunday 10.00-16.30.
Nerissa Cargill Thompson will be selling small works and gifts made from recycled clothing at this year’s Christmas Market at Sunny Bank Mills, Farsley, Pudsey, West Yorkshire, LS28 5UJ, 28th - 29th November Friday 2pm – 8pm & Saturday 10am – 5pm. Join us in the 1912 Mill for this year’s Christmas Market, a showcase of independent artists and makers producing ceramics, jewellery, prints, homewares, original artwork and more! Entry fee – £3.50. U12s are free.
Annie Taylor is taking part in Whitstable Artists & Makers Trail 29/30th November, 11am to 4pm. A special festive artists open houses/shopping event, with the Whitsparkle parade finishing off the Saturday. Local artists and makers presenting a unique opportunity to buy beautifully hand made gifts direct from the makers.

Explore over 50 handpicked stalls from Manchester makers featuring a wide variety of high-quality, handcrafted goods such as art, jewellery, prints, ceramics, Christmas decor, booze, and more. Why not combine with a tour of the building?
