About Prism Textiles:

Prism Textiles is an international exhibiting group of textile artists, working together to dispel the common preconceptions surrounding textiles, and embracing both a contemporary fine art approach and the rich technical traditions of fibre and stitch. The annual exhibition showcases the textile artwork of its members through selected curation to achieve this goal.

Prism Textiles has been exhibiting as a group since 1998. We currently have 69 members from UK and beyond. Membership is currently closed with next applications likely to be spring 2026. For the past few years we have made The Art Pavilion in Mile End our annual base for our exhibition and member gatherings to celebrate achievements, exchange ideas and start the ball rolling on the next year’s exhibition. Each exhibition has a title/theme to inspire our members to create new, exciting contemporary textile work. The title for 2026 is “Dictionary”.
